Course Content
This programme offers you the opportunity to develop your palliative care CNS role. It entails a tele-education approach over six months with five direct learning sessions (90 minutes per session) facilitated by specialist palliative care experts using the Hospice UK approved ECHO model.
Participants will contribute to planning their programme of teaching for the cohort, presenting a case study (with other participants) on an identified aspect of clinical care and actively contributing to the discussions on each session.
This course will be run virtually via zoom apart from the first session, which will be face-to-face and held at St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds on 3rd April 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Clinical Nurse Specialists in specialist palliative care teams (community or hospital) who have been in post less than two years (band 6 and above).
