Course Content

A full-day in-person course covering key areas of symptom management for palliative patients aimed at senior healthcare professionals.

Topics Covered: recognising dying, assessing and managing symptoms, anticipatory prescribing, terminal agitation, end of life decision making.

Eligibility Criteria

Registered healthcare professionals working at enhanced and advanced level of practice (band 6 and above) supporting patients with terminal and long-term conditions receiving palliative and end of life care.

Funded places are available for colleagues in Leeds Community Healthcare and Leeds Primary Care Teams.
