Course Content
Our symptom management courses are aimed at those who take a lead in palliative and end of life care within their area of practice as well as those who work in specialist palliative care.
4 half-day interactive tele-education sessions via zoom
The series consists of four stand-alone sessions, covering advanced practice in:
• Pain in Palliative Care
• Breathlessness and Fatigue in Palliative Care
• Gastrointestinal Symptoms in Palliative Care
• Red Flags in Palliative Care
Eligibility Criteria
Registered healthcare professionals working at Enhanced and Advanced level of practice (band 6 and above) supporting patients with terminal and long-term conditions receiving palliative and end of life care.
Funded places are available for colleagues in Leeds Community Healthcare and Leeds Primary Care Teams.
